Our Staff

Our pastor is Dale Mullinix. Since 1978, Dale has pastored churches in Nashville, TN, York Springs, PA, and Roanoke, VA. For nearly two decades, he taught a variety of New Testament courses at Harrisburg School of the Bible. He has also had opportunities to teach and preach on mission fields in Haiti, Cameroon, and India. Besides being blessed to minister at Emmaus Bible Fellowship, he is also involved in a semi-monthly evangelistic outreach at a local nursing home in Roanoke.

Pastor Dale’s training for the ministry includes graduate degrees from Bob Jones University and Capital Bible Seminary, as well as special graduate studies at the Jerusalem University College and the University of the Holy Land. His passion is to proclaim Christ through careful, verse-by-verse expository preaching of the Bible.

He and his wife Debi live in Roanoke, VA, and have three adult children.


Jonathan, Emily, Micaiah, Gloria and Melody Polar

Jonathan Polar serves as our Assistant Pastor. Jonathan grew up in the Roanoke area and has been involved in church ministry since his teen years. He has experience in short term missions, musical and children’s ministries and local outreach. Jonathan graduated from Bob Jones University in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Church Music. His responsibilities at Emmaus Bible Fellowship include leading the Music Ministry, Adult education as Sunday School teacher, working with Pathfinders (our children’s ministry) and the local nursing home ministry. Jonathan has a burning desire to see Christians “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

He and his wife Emily were married in 2002 and now have three children whom they homeschool.
